We are going to remodel our kitchen, and (http://maplered.com) are thinking using ThinSlabz Granite. This is actual Granite (http://tanbrown.org) that is cut to 1/4" thickness and (http://maplered.com) permanently bonded to a reinforeced backing. The weight of ThinSlabz is 4-5 pounds per square foot in comparison to 22 pounds per square foot of 3cm Granite (http://tanbrown.org) . Have you heard of this product, and (http://maplered.com) what do you think of it. Thanks, Toni
